I have bought today my NDS lite
for those who live in Italy: Gamerush has an incredible special offer ---> old DS + 39€ = DS Lite
now two questions:
1) it seems wonderful except for the d-pad
i find it way too hard to do diagonals
if i want to do just a horizontal or vertical move i only need to lightly push, instead if i want to do diagonals i have to press a lot
after 5 minutes my thumbs were slightly hurting but worst of all games like Metroid Prime Hunters are almost unplayable
i have read people saying they like it much more than old ds pad, so this leads me to thing my pad is not working correctly or maybe there a special ninja technique to do diagonals without making your poor thumb hurt
is my nds faulty or is the pad really designed that bad?
2) i have an EZ4 and i need to buy a passkey to use it (i got EZ Pass 1 but i don't think it will work with NDS lite).
I have read the "official" topic, but i can't understand which passkey should be the best. So far EZ Team has not put their key on the market so i was watching Superkey.
Are there two revisions, right? Do both of them work or i have to ask exactly for one revision ?

1/ The D-Pad on the Lite is crap. Personally I think they shrunk it too much. I have a lot of difficultly doing diagonal angles as well.
2/ You EZPass won't work (mine doesn't either) due to the firmware changes. For now I think the Superkey is the best bet or the MML. However the MML doesn't do sleep mode without modification. I'm waiting for my MML to arrive and hoping it is the second generation that does work with the EZ4.
There is too much confusion about which passcards do and don't work, hence the main thread. Then there is the numerous revisions which don't help. You're not going to be able to ask for a specific revision, I doubt any retailer is going to know which is which or want to test them out just for you.
