Uploaded with ImageShack.us and when i try to start without update this is ehat i got
The first image concerns me but could just be dirty pins or one of the others- the rest are classic examples of why those microSD to miniSD adapters are terrible for this sort of thing (I assume the microSD is otherwise good and not a cheap thing from ebay or somewhere out of Hong Kong).
Having sourced a few such cards to send with people as they visit you neck of the woods I understand it will be quite hard to find one but do try.
Kingston from Japan were usually considered the best around that time but if it is just for the GBA it does not really matter as long as it is not a Hong Kong special (some people also had trouble with old 64 megabyte cards like you might find in really old phones but that is a different matter)- the GBA mode copies things to internal ram (or NOR memory if you prefer) which is far slower than the slowest miniSD. The DS mode reads directly from SD but if you want DS I strongly advise you get a proper DS slot cart anyway.
