i can tell this is not a site that is freandly to the mmd but the program i just downloaded i giving me an error messeg

error
could not find file E:\moonshl\skin\checked.bmp

what is checked.bmp

why dont this just load normal moonshell skins the kind that just have simple files you made it so dificult to work with sorry but it is not working for me

It is specific to EZ-V formatted skins. I'm not sure of the format for regular Moonshell skins. Sorry, but I don't plan on adding support for it.

a friend of mine pointed this program out to me, since it does almost the same as my program(Phleon the Moonshell preview/developer suite) I may be of assistance to the developer, but I own a R4 and not an EZ-5

also (in VB.NET(which is what I use)) for the "- Reloading skins in a single instance of the program can result in large memory usage due to some leaks I haven't tracked down. " problem, you could use System.GC.Collect() after each sub and function. It saved my program from fluctuating between 40 and 170 megabytes of ram being used. :wink:

I am actually working on Phleon again(periodically in mass)
I'm just here to offer my assistance if necessary, as through the experience of my project I am pretty much a GDI master now

PS: This software isnt working it asking about files from skin like desktopbn.bmp which are unnecesary

That's because it's made for previewing the old style skins. As far as I know, there aren't any apps for displaying skins for the current EZ-V kernel.
