Actually I made these skins for myself and the ones with the wing logo's are actually adaptations of a logo I made using my initials (TR, Timo R.) *click
Something I added was the scroll bar at the left of the bottom screen, because those places are indeed touch sensitive for scrolling and so I thought it would be a nice add if I actually made some kind of a scroll bar [/url][/b]

Did you do your own scroll work on the first one? If that was by hand on pc, id say you did a nice job. The second pair arent my style, but do look good. However, both would look better with icons more suited to them than the stock ones. With the talent you put into the rest of the skins, im sure you would have no problem making your own icons to improve the skins overall look. (besides, i still have no clue what a movie reel has to do with NOR memory, or why a CD rom is your saving options)
Yeah, they are both made completely by hand (Adobe Illustrator mainly). And I have a little problem with making icons, so I just used the normal ones.
Everytime I made full size icons (48 x 40) a bit was cut off on the right, as you can see here:
So I just used the normal ones, maybe I'll update the skins later with new icons...
Oh, and the example pictures can differ a little from the ones that will appear on your DS. Since the EZSkinner thing didn't workfor me and I compilated them by hand...

Yea, theres a wtireup about the icon issues. Just leave the right 8 pixles unused in any color you want and work in the left 40x40 square and you will have no problems. The right 8 pixels essentially become transparent so anything under that area on the background image will be seen clearly. If you can work with layers a little more advanced, there are a few ways to make the icons the full 48 pixels wide if you choose, but then you get that little box cutting thru part of the icon image for the button selected. Place your icons into position with the "zone" template available, flatten the layers to your background and save that as the subbg.jpg file. Then step backwards and select the 48x40 area of each the three icons, cropping each time and saving the respective icon, then stepping backwards after your save-as command, and repeat for the other 2 icons. Theres a few steps involved, but you can make your buttons appear to be a seamless part of your background image this way. Hope that helps and doesnt sound all confusing reading it.
Edit: From your actual photo of the loader on the DS, Might I suggest leaving the top 1 row and right 2 rows of the select.jpg black? This would give a false drop shadow effect to the file currently seelcted on screen. Might make the black bar at the bottom look more intentional that way.
Okay, I've updated the second skin. Originally there were two version, but I ditched one of em. So now it's only one, and it's also updated to the newest kernel V1.69
I'll update the first skin later
