Someone please buy it and tell us if it works with any flash cart!!!

I'm hoping you read this part at the bottom of the article. This is awesome. I am ordering the AR tonight. As well as my EZIVLite and EZPass3.

Whoa! I didn't see the part about 'dev-board hardware' but I did see the part about an upcoming trainer toolkit! Man I really hope the real AR supports flash carts... Or that the flash cart companies figure out a way to make it work. Maybe even a dump would work if someone could figure out how to patch it to do it's thing and then jump to the real game from the cart afterward. Such awesome news but I need to know!!! Worst case scenario would be if the flash cart companies make their own cheat engines and use the codes from AR.

If the NEO carts run from the DS slot then they may actually work with the AR.

I placed the order on the 26th and it immediately sent an email saying it is out of stock. This means it was never in stock to begin with. If you remember when I ordered my Max Media Player for my DS it took almost 2 months because they did the same thing. Listed it as available before they even had inventory. On another forum a couple people have reported receiving an email today saying they will ship to and be in the U.S. on the 3rd and will then be distributed from there to us. This means we will probably get them on the 7th or 8th. I have not received this email though. They already have the article up on their website about the trainer toolkit though. I'm hoping they start selling it as soon as the ARs ship. I will definitely order that. They even have a screen up showing the PC application. It is a screen of their in house app but they say the retail will not be much different. If I can figure a way to dump it I definitely will so someone can look at it. The article is here:

Damn that sucks that it's not available yet and we were told it was. That's pretty sweet about the trainer toolkit but it was totally misleading from what the previous description would be. I was under the impression that it would be a DS binary that would run from a flash cart -- not another piece of hardware. BTW it wouldn't work when dumped -- except for maybe acting as the Action Replay but would probably only work with real games -- because it needs the USB port to operate correctly. If there's no USB port then there's no way to save the memory dump. Someone might be able to patch it to dump to the memory on a flash cart but then there'd have to be a program that would go through the dumps and compare them and save the results to SRAM or something. It's possible someone would do that but I think it would be too much work for something that might not get a lot of use. I'm more interested in seeing a cheat engine on flash carts evolving from the AR. Hopefully that will happen because I'm having withdrawals from cheating here...

My DS AR will be here by tuesday according to UPS tracking. I hate UPS! I usually will not even order from a company that ships UPS. They suck dirty green donkey testicles!

Yeah they do but at least their tracking is better than USPS.

I actually went by a Best Buy and picked one up this morning. Glad I didn't open it because the UPS driver had left mine at the office for me. It does not work with my EZIV. It just keeps saying insert game. I tried putting my superkey in to load a game from the cart but it said unknown game. I have a few actual carts and will try them tonight.

That sucks that it couldn't be tricked into working but at least part of my questions are answered now. Now that it is actually out maybe some group or manufacturers of carts will figure out how to get it working with them...

If it could be dumped as a ROM then it could probably be patched to run from the flashcarts. I have no clue how to dump a cart though.

Unfortunately, since the EZTeam hasn't released any sdk for the FAT to be written to the dumping program wouldn't do much good. I'm sure it will find it's way online soon enough.

Hey are you able to see the codes that are preloaded into the AR? They still don't have any codes showing on their page. The good news is that they are totally unencrypted! I'm glad they didn't screw it up with encryption. I was curious if the games needed master codes and was wondering if you could give me a few codes for a game to test out on DipStar? Like Burnout Legends, NSMB, anything really.
