EZ-Flash USA Forum

Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, i am new here. My girlfriend and I recently got EZ flash vi cards. I have been having a lot of problems with games i wanted to play freezing and white screening but she, for the most part, has not. I didnt think of any real reason for this until we both wanted to play the same game. Now we both are using the exact same rom for the world ends with you, but on hers there is no problem at all but mine white screens everytime i enter a battle. We have the exact same ds system, same ez flash vi card, and same rom, the only thing that is different is she has a 4gb PNY sd card and a i have a 4gb Sandisk sd card. Any suggestions?

Use a better Micro Sd-Card ( Faster type ) or Set in the Special Mode the speed at 5. Or use a diferent speed setting, so the game will run.

Do you have the latest Kernel and Firmware installed ( Kernel 3.0-OB6 and Firmware 1.03 ) ??

I do have the latest firmware and kernel.

I have not been able to get special mode to work yet. We have DSI XLs'. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Can you recommend a good sd card?

Non of the Special mode settings ( 0-9 ) has a woking vallue ?
At my DsiXl has the speed setting ( 5 ) mostly a working result.
Howhever, Mostly all the roms at my DsiXl are working fine without the help of the Special mode.

I'm using a 8 GB Sandisk card. I don't know the speed of this card.

The only Rom that is not working good at my system is :
5547 Mario vs. Donkey Kong - Mini-Land Mayhem (EU)
For this one, i must set the speed setting at 5.
