sometimes lately i find
homebrew has already been DLDI patched like for R4 or M3 or something
as if the author thinks they are the only flashcarts out there
so this stuff wont work on EZ5

anyone know a way to "unpatch" DLDI??
clean the file so replace with another DLDI patch??
maybe if not with some automatic tool
then a way with hex editing??

Hmm, I rarely see them autopatched any more and did not know it caused trouble.
Still "blank" DLDI you can grab from http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/ (this is the old site but a quick scan of the wiki can not drag it up here).
Any number of DLDI patchers should work here (the Dynamically linked part of the name means although you can hex edit the place is not consistent (remotely) between games and sometimes builds- it is not like editing a header).
This being said it need not be clean in the first place- the DLDI "specification" leaves aside some 32K for said patch that you can rewrite all you like without needing to return back.
