I just recieved my EZ-Flash 3. I got a copy of the software with it

and I'm having problems installing the drivers. My old EZF Advance was easy, this is nutz!

I get an error message when i install the drivers. This device cannot start (code 10). (see various pics)

I am using windows XP pro SP2

can anyone help me, if i can't get it to work, i'm going to send it back.

Those pictures are of EZClient, you should be using EZManager for EZ3's.

now why didn't the EZManager software come with the kit !

thanks for the info, i can now see a green light on the box.

Do i use the EZManager software to load roms ?

the problem i get now is i get a flashing green/red light when i load the program.

Yes you use the EZManager to put games on the cart. A red/green alternating light means that the software is accessing the cart. If it does it for more than a second it means the cart isn't found and if you have it in it probably isn't getting a good connection. So reinsert the cart into the writer and if it still doesn't recognize it you should clean the pins with a qtip and rubbing alcohol then try again.

i just thought, do these carts work with the Gamboy micro ? silly question but had to ask.

ah the plot thickens....

thats good that it works for the micro.

so, i've got a green light and i've loaded ez3manager220, i've set the mode with EZ_Mode.exe to EZ1/2 & 3 but i still get the flashing green / red lamp when EZManager.exe is started (both EZ1/2 &3). Non of the manager options work at the moment, am i doing anything wrong ?

on the other hand while using ezc325 (client) i can select roms and write to the cart, i see the progress bar writing to the rom. When it's finished loading i plug the cart into my micro..the gamboy logo bounes on then the screen goes black and the start & select buttons flash.

i'm almost there but i fear i'm doing something wrong, any ideas ? perhaps i need to set the correct mode in the client ?
