Need help badly.

I followed the guide for EZ Pass 2. I used the JED file that corresponds with my original DS cart that is place onto my EZ Pass 2. But I am not using EZ Flash 3 so I did not use the .SAV file in the CLPD. As far as I know, I have to write the .gba file into the SRAM which I get from the superpass 2 folder. But after I did power-cycling, all I get from the 2 screens when switched to NDS mode, I get white screens.

Any kind soul could help me? I have been going to various forums to ask about this for 1 whole week.

You need to flash the EZPass2 with the correct JED file for your DS cart, which you have done. Make sure it is an EZTEam .jed file as the EZPass 2 uses a different CPLD chip to the rest of the passme2 devices.

The .sav is a special .sav file which the EZPass 2 tricks the DS into running so it is most definitely needed.
You will need to get this on the SRAM of your supercard.

How you would accomplish this on a supercard I have no idea but I have seen supercard passme2 devices and so I assume it is possible somehow. Hopefully you either know how to or someone else does.

Oh and http://www.sosuke.com/ezflash/wiki/index.php/EZPass_2 might help.

so let me summarise. I uses the .JED file AND the .SAV file from the list in this website, that corresponds with the real DS cart which in my case is the mario & luigi: partners in time(U). I use the program to set the jed file on my computer. With the program working, I still need to write the .sav file into the sram of the supercard rite?.. After that it will says "Writing SRAM.. Done". Then I do power cycling. The EZPass2 would help boot the supercard into NDS mode correct? And that is when i play it with the .dsq files which is patched from the supercard patching program. That is all, ya?

You got it correct. You pass. You can now play games on your SCSD.

And the egg.

Try this program. Then load the sav file that is for the jed (or manually copy it) and make sure the sav is named the same as the game (minus the extension of course). Then when you run that GBA program it _should_ load the sav into the cart so the next boot will be into DS mode.

I did your method, but I still cannot get rid of the 2 white screens. I just load the .sav file from the passme2.gba right? Then i slot the EZPass2 when it says SRAM Written. After that, Power off and Power On back quickly. And what I got was another nintendo logo with 2 white screens after that.

I'm not sure if you understood everything in my last post so I will try to rewrite it better. I'm not sure how exactly the SuperCard software works but after you transfer that GBA file to the CF or (mini)SD you are using you need to copy the sav that matches the jed to the save folder on the media and make sure it is named the same. (Rename ARME-0.sav to passme2_mb.sav.) Then when you run passme2_mb.gba it should load the save into the SC's memory area. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what will since you can't write directly to the cart like an older generation flash cart...

sorry.. I renamed the .sav file to passme2_mb.sav. After that when I run passme2_mb.gba on my supercard, it gives me the blue screen to select files. So i select on the ARME one. After that, I got SRAM written. I place in the EZPass2 while the power is on. Power off and power on immediately. Same thing happened and the usual white screens appeared. Any ideas?

Really sorry. Because I thought this would be a good place to know about EZPass2 and see if there is something wrong with the method I have done.

Ah crap. Sorry it wasn't on your end that the problem lies with my solution. I was mislead by what I read on another page about what the program did. I thought it allowed you to load the sav file from the program and put it into the cart's save space but now I see that it writes a save that is included in the binary for whatever game you are using...

OK I think I found a workaround here...

Get the SuperPass software. Take the ARME-0.GBA and write it to the root of your miniSD. Then take the ARME-0.SAV that you downloaded for the EZPass2 and put that at the root as well. Start up the DS with your SC and run ARME-0.GBA. Now hopefully you will have the sav loaded to the card memory and when you next start up with the EZPass2 in it will run...

sorry..sadly to say.. that is the 1st approach I have used.. And that is how I get my 1st 2 white screens. So I have searched for many solutions. If none of the methods can work.. I hope I could get a demo from one of the successful people around here. I really am desperate. Thanks.

Have you checked to see what version DS you have or did you just buy the EZPass2 because it works with any version? Try writing the EZPass 1 jed to it if there is any doubt.

anyway.. the point of EZPass2 is that I should kept the parallel port and usb cable at all times even after I secure the .jed file right? or after I secure it, I should plug them out?
