There is a problem with the INF files for EZManager from 1.0 up to the latest 2.20

If you right click on INF files and choose "install" they should install, these do not, they say installation failed here on my machine.

I run XP Pro with SP2 and have never been able to install the drivers correctly.

I used the MANUAL install the drivers in /system32 in the past but for some reason that no longer works for me.


WAY back in the begining I was able to install and it seemed to work, I was able to load games on the cart & use them, but I have had the "Can't save without 4 finger reset then save" problem since day one (yes my EZIII is dated 2004.08 EZ370 like 3 other people that also can not save without the "4 finger reset" trick.


EZTeam had me send the cart back to them for testing and they changed the battery and said it WORKS FINE for them.

So I wanted to reinstall EZManager to eliminate a SOFTWARE problem.... well I have screwed it up good and I have tried for 3 days now and I can not get the software to install again

Anyone here with an EZIII and XP Pro SP2 that can help point me in the right direction?

Any ideas / help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh jeez... just kill me now.

I am tuck in an endless loop of "failed to install this hardware, the specified file can not be found"....


I have tried Darkens trick using 1.0 and 2.07 and everything in between.

The drivers for EZIII simply will not reinstall on this machine.


I am ready to throw it all out the window.

hey try runing the client software i am also having trouble running the ez manager it doesnt reconize my power start car, but it works with the ez client software, hope this helps, but i would gladly appreciate some help with the manager software, please look at my post i think my post is the one posted after yours.
