just got an ezflash3 1gb an am loving it - just a couple of questions
1. i play the gba rom's on my pc as well, using visual boy advance - is there a way to transfer these sav files to the saver folder on the cartridge?
2. i have the latest ezmanager 3 2.20 build - whe i try and use the menu on the left hand side to browse to my gba rom dir, no rom's get listed in the tree view? is it because my default windows install is on my F: drive instead of the C: drive?
3. the 1gb section is now called the NAND section in the latest build of ezmanager - i have never been able to use this tab to upload/wrote files to the cartridge, only the 256mbit tab does this - is this correct useage/behaviour for the program?
4. is there a way to use windows explorer to browse the ezflash cartridge?

Zen,
1/ Drag n drop. Keep a copy though, EZManager moves files, it doesnt copy.
2/ You have to click the '...' button. Even though you can type in the text box it does nothing. Other than that, I don't know.
3/ No. The NAND tab should be usable. Otherwise you've only got 32meg to play with, not the 128 meg (1Gbit) you should have as well. Have you run the EZ_Mode app yet ?
4/ No. The cart uses a modified FAT file system. It's just not possible.
yeah i figured out the drag and drop - works with the sav files too in the saver folder
and yeah i noticed the drag and drop is a move not a copy hehe as for the tree menu on the left - clicking the '...' button is how i get the path in there in the first place - i never typed it in. oh well, not a huge loss now that i know drag n drop works
in the nand tab - theres nothing to save 'add rom' or anything like the 256mb tab - i suppose the dnd functionality renders this moot though
ok another question (jeez im noobie hehe) - renaming the roms in windows explorer doesnt seem to do anything when they are transferred to the cartridge - the files get renamed and follow the 8.3 convention - is this due to the use of the modified fat16 filesystem? whats the purpose of the rename button in the nand tab when that doesnt work anyways as well?

What format are your roms stored in ? If they're rar, they may not show up, if they're zip they should be fine.
The roms are read using a list (GBA) or from the header. So renaming them won't help before you copy them. You can rename them after they're copied and that should work fine.
And yes, the 8.3 filename's are due to the modified fat filesystem. You can rename the roms, but only to an 8.3 filename after they're copied.
I just realised what you meant about not having an Add button. You don't add roms via a button on the NAND side, you just drag and drop them from within EZManager (or multiple files from within Windows manager).

I thought this was the case, but when I tried, it didn't work? I tried with Zelda: Minish Cap and Yoshi's Island. It's weird, because it worked the other way around (SuperCard/VBA/Whatever save to EZ3).
