Sort of what I'm asking - the deal basically is that I've never had a problem with my EZ3 but then I did a format of the NAND section (1gbit) with one of the newer versions of the client and it glitched on me - now I cannot do a slow format of the NAND section, only a quick format, and the bigger problem is that after a certain portion of my NAND section is written to the writing process freezes up, like there's a bad sector or something. For example writing a 512mbit NDS game stops at 88% every time.

So yeah anyway my question is that I remember on the official site something like an ezfix.exe file that does a full format/cleanup of the NAND section in the event that something weird like this happens - can someone link me to that file and elaborate on its use, or recommend another solution to my problem?

The latest EZManager (2.20) supports a better format of the NAND memory. It only supports full format and automatically marks bad sectors as unusable.

You could try that first.

Otherwise EZCheck is floating around on the forums here somewhere.

hah. sure enough, 2.20 fixed it up. I swear it was 2.20 that broke it in the first place - maybe it was another version in between 2.10 and 2.20 that did it. Either way it worked, so thanks :)
