I am wondering is there any tutorials and/or apps that can create skins for the EZ5?
I would like to create some skins from scratch but have no idea on how to do so.
Just replace the files that go in a skin folder. For example, download a skin off of here and just replace the image files one by one. As for the skin.ini (which affects text color, etc) it should be pretty straightforward. Replace the old skin's author's name with your own, and change the colors to what you want them to be. If you don't know how to make colors from hexidecimals, most paint programs will tell you the hex values of any color you select. At least, most paint programs I've used. So change FileSelectText from 000000 (black) to FFFFFF (white) for example and your filenames will show up in white instead of black. And use one of the skin previewers off of this site to frequently examine your skin and make sure it looks the way you want. Don't worry, it's not like you can screw anything up.
You should just try things out... If I would have time I'd create a guide, but I don't have much time and I'm not even good at skinning. I only know the basics...
